Terms & Policies

These policies help create clarity, stability, and safety in our work together.

Confidentiality

Everything shared in sessions is confidential.

Confidentiality may only be broken if there is:

  • serious and immediate danger to your life or someone else’s, or
  • a legal obligation from authorities.

No information is shared with insurers, employers, or third parties. Identities and personal details are also strictly protected in supervision and intervision — no identifiable information is ever shared.

Session length

  • Individual sessions: 45 minutes
  • Couples (two people): 55 minutes
  • Triads (three people): 75 minutes (with short pauses)
  • Polycules (4+ people): 90 minutes (with structured pauses)

Fees

Current fees are listed on the Fees page. Fees may change with reasonable notice.

All services are self-pay. I do not bill insurers or work within diagnostic frameworks.

Payment

Invoices are issued monthly, or at another mutually agreed rhythm. Payment is made via bank transfer. We can discuss and choose the payment rhythm that works best for you.

Workshops and group programs are paid in advance.

Late payments may result in pausing further sessions until payment is settled.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are charged in full. This applies to all session formats (individual, couples, triad, poly, online, in person). Missed sessions without notice are also charged in full.

Online sessions

Online sessions follow the same fees and cancellation policies as in-person sessions. Clients are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space for the session.

Professional boundaries

I do not work with:

  • clients seeking crisis or emergency interventions
  • clients requiring psychiatric or medical treatment
  • situations requiring formal assessment, diagnosis, or reports
  • minors

I do not offer 24/7 availability or crisis support.

Ending therapy

You can end therapy at any time. It’s recommended to discuss this in session to ensure a grounded and healthy ending process.

I may also suggest pausing or ending therapy if:

  • the work is outside my scope,
  • you need a different type of support, or
  • boundaries or safety are compromised.

Ethical practice

My work aligns with relational, trauma-aware, queer-affirming and feminist ethics. I maintain ongoing supervision and ongoing professional development.
